Foals '11
The 2011 foals are now all here. Sadly Paith Magical Rockset lost her beautiful foal at birth, but the other girls all safely foaled.
Yet again, I was privileged to use some of the best stallions in the country, and possibly the world, this year and I must say
a huge thank you to all the stallion owners for letting me use their lovely boys.
The sires of this years foals include:
Royal Welsh and Prince of Wales Cup Winner Danaway Flash Jack,
Royal Welsh winner and multiple Supreme Champion Danaway Tango,
Royal of England winner Taraco Fiasco,
Supreme Champion and medal winner Friars Golden Mark,
Dutch prizewinning stallion Ysselvliedts Golden Boy (now in Australia)
and the Royal Welsh winner and multiple Supreme
Champion Heniarth Quip.
I know I say it every year but I cannot emphasise how lucky I am to be able to use such truly exceptional stallions.
A genuine and heartfelt thank you to the stallion owners for allowing their precious boys to stand at stud.
I appreciate it so SO SO much. Words cannot express the gratitude I feel that the owner's of these incredible
stallions allow others the chance to use such truly phenomenal horses in their breeding programme.

Taraco Goldikova
2011 Section A filly
I am honoured to be the guardian of the delightful Vervale Gift of Gold (by Springbourne Caraway) and am thrilled with this,
her first foal. Her dam is by the illustrious stockgetter
Springbourne Caraway and out of the champion show mare Blanche Glimmer. Gift of Gold is a full sister to Royal Welsh winners
and champions Vervale Gabanna and Vervale Galileo. Her sire is the multiple medal winning Supreme Champion Friars Golden Mark so it is no wonder
that this delightful filly oozes presence and attitude!

Taraco Daioni
2011 Section D filly
A gorgeous bay filly foal by Taraco Fiasco (our own Royal of England winning son of Danaway Fash Jack) and out of
the
substantial old fashioned mare Danaway Ribbon (by Tireinon Triple Crown). This filly, Fisaco's second ever foal,
is absolutely delightful and I am exceedingly proud of her, she is the first of the second generation Taraco
welsh cob foals.

Taraco Foxtrot
2011 Section D filly
For 10 long years I have dreamed about Fantasy x Tango foals in my fields so it is no surprise to those that know me that Fantasy
(Danaway Cherimarie cross Danaway Flash Jack)
has now had a third foal by my favourite stallion Danaway Tango (by Tireinon Triple Crown).
Fantasy's first foal by Tango (Taraco Firecracker) was a stunning palomino colt and her second
(Taraco Florentina) a breathtaking palomino filly (sold to USA) so it was a simple decision to
use Tango again and an even simpler one to decide to keep this gorgeous filly.

Taraco CrackerJack
2011 Section D colt foal
A gorgeous buckskin colt foal out of Danaway Carolina and by Danaway Flash Jack.
His dam is a lovely mare who is out of one of my favourite of Danaway Stud's old mares
Rhosygarreg Brenhines (by Nebo Brenin) and by Trevallion Valentino. This foal features multiple
Royal Welsh winner and Supreme
Champion Danaway Flash Jack as its sire, a medal winning mare as its dam and has Supreme Champion
Trevallion Valentino as its great grandsire.

Taraco Fanfare
2011 Section D filly
Out of one of my favourite mares (Danaway Cherimarie) and by Danaway Flash Jack - this hugely successful
cross has already proved to be a winning combination producing my stunning foundation mare Danaway Fantasy, the super stallion
Danaway Flashback (in Germany), Taraco Fiasco (retained), Taraco Fabio (sold to Denmark), Taraco Fernando (sold to Scotland) and Taraco Figaro (sold to Australia).
Cherimarie has also produced the
stunning fillies Danaway Riviera (in Ireland) and Taraco Fiorenza (sold to Holland) -
having crossed my fingers all year for a filly to retain I am ecstatic with this gorgeous palomino filly.

Taraco Gloriana

A gorgeous filly out of Blanche Glisten and by Friars Golden Mark. Glisten is by the wonderful Royal Welsh winning stallion Breachwood Marwyn and
out of the lovely mare Springbourne Gemma making her a half-sister to Vervale Stud's
Blanche Glimmer. This filly has been retained at the stud along side her dam and her sister!

Taraco Chilali
Section A filly foal
this is a beautiful palomino filly out of beautiful daughter of five times medal winner Ringstead Charming Lass
and by the multiple supreme champion and Royal Welsh winner
Heniarth Quip, a winner in hand, under saddle and in harness.

Taraco Crescendo
Section A colt foal
A very striking chestnut sabino colt foal out of the multiple supreme champion and five times medal winning mare
and by the gorgeous Blackhill Picaol son Ysselvliedts Golden Boy (now exported to Australia).
He has siblings throughout Europe and the UK and some soon expected in Australia! This striking colts
siblings include the Royal Welsh winner Tallares Sandpiper, the Champion Taraco Crossfire
and many other wonderful mountain ponies including medal winner Haverford Imp.
This foal is a very special foal featuring Blackhill Picalo, Weston Dixie, Forlan Brigadier, Revel Saled
and other greats in its immediate pedigree.

Taraco Ramiro
Section A colt foal
A full brother to Taraco Riff Raff this gorgeous colt is another very striking chestnut sabino with four long socks
and beautiful blaze. Ramiro is a half brother to Taraco Rosetta, Taraco Rockstar (sold to France), RASE winner Taraco Renegade
and the prize winning fillies Taraco Razzmatazz and Taraco Rioja. With his sire now exported to Australia Ramiro will be one of the
last foals in Europe by this fantastic young stallion. Line bred to Springbourne Gemma he combines some excellent old breeding and at
only a few hours old already shows loads of presence and potential.

This foal has been linebred to Nebo Brenin
this foal will feature Nebo Daniel, Nebo Brenin, Cippyn Real Magic, Trevallion Flash Jack and many more
top class welsh cobs in its immediate pedigree.

Paith Magical Rockset x Trevallion Conan
(Section D)
Sadly Magic lost her 2011 foal at birth.
She had a beautiful dilute black filly by the young up and
coming stallion Trevallion Conan. Sadly it was not meant to be and she was stillborn and never got to stand,
run and play with the other foals. Magic recovered very quickly and was soon out helping supervise the other foals.

2010 was a phenomenal year for me with some wonderful foals including Taraco Figaro and Taraco Mourinho (by Danaway Flash Jack), Taraco Florentina, Cplorado and Armani (by Danaway Tango), Taraco Donatella (by Gwynfaes Culhwch) and Taraco Riff Raff (by Ysselvliedts Golden Boy) as well as other top class foals. with 2 sold to USA, 1 to Australia and 1 to Sweden it was also a very international year for us!
