Bonita: a girls name derived from the Spanish bonita meaning beautiful or pretty; an apt name for such a pretty filly.
This gorgeous palomino filly is by the superb stockgetter
Trevallion Valentino
and out of one of my foundation mares,
Terackie Golden Beauty.
A beautiful head, kind eye, great temperament and wonderful colour top off a filly that has great conformation and powerful straight action.
This filly has a great pedigree jam-packed with some top welsh cobs and I look forward to seeing her
out in the show ring in the future. This delightful filly is line bred to one of my favourite stallions Brynymor Welsh Magic
and it is no surprise that she just oozes show quality. Having waited a long time for a
filly out of her dam, to be lucky enough to get a palomino one was the icing on the cake!
Her sire, Valentino, is a supreme champion in the show ring, as well as the sire of numerous
top show winners including multiple Royal Welsh Winner Drogeda Stormy Tempest, Northleach winners
Danaway Miss Supreme, Cascob Hannah and multiple Supreme Champion Danaway Samson, Danaway Peaches,
Danaway Valentine as well as medal winners Trevallion President Dino and Danaway Carolina and
many more. His stock have been successful in hand, under saddle and in harness at the highest
level with many off his offspring exported overseas. As well as being owned by Danaway Stud,
arguably one of the leading studs in the UK, Valentino has been used by some of the best studs
in the country including the likes of Nebo, Geler, Cascob, Abergavenny, Fronarth and Trevallion.
Bonnie’s dam is Terackie Golden Beauty, a lovely palomino mare by Royal Welsh winner Nebo Thomas. Beauty's sire, Nebo Thomas is a RWAS
winning stallion - he won the RWAS as a two-year-old and went on to be Reserve Youngstock Champion,
the following year he was Youngstock Champion (which was the same year that his half brother
Nebo Hywel won The George Prince of Wales Cup). Thomas has also won at several other very prestigious
shows including, amongst others, Northleach, Glanusk, R.A.S.E. and Three Counties.
