Calypso - named for a dance, a song, a rare orchid and a sea nymph this filly combines the magic from them all! (1. a rare temperate orchid with beautiful yellow markings; 2. A sea nymph in Greek mythology; 3. a lively West Indian ballad; 4. a dance to the rhythm of this song)

This beautiful palomino filly is the grand-daughter of my foundation section A mare Ringstead Charming Lass. Her dam was bought at a few days old as a foal at foot with her dam when I was looking for a palomino mare to join the stud and Celeste has proved to be as valuable an addition to the stud as her dam. Like most of my foals Calypso's pedigree includes back to back champions on both sides of her pedigree - including a medal winning sire (Tiffwyl Mounten Model), the medal winning grandparents Tiffwyl Melodi, Owston Harvest, and includes greats like Penboeth Yoyo (medal winner), Penual Mark, Llwynan Flash and Llwynan Birthday Boy. Calypso has inherited her the same fantastic paces and stunning looks as her mum and dad and is a striking golden palomino with four long stockings, blaze and a beautiful white mane and tai and is an outstanding mover with a superb front. Calypso's sire is the stunning little stallion Tiffwyl Mounten Model who is a medal winning stallion by Llwynan Flash and out of the RWAS winning mare Tiffwyl Melodi who is by Penual Mark. It is no surprise with breeding like this that Calypso is a beautiful little filly with heaps of welsh character and was reluctantly sold within a week of being born.
