Taraco Camaro

Camaro - Like his half brother Crossfire, Camaro has been named after a flashy fast sports car! The Chevrolet Camaro first rolled onto the roads in the 1960's and a new version is being released in 2010! Classy, fast and striking camaro is also meant to have been found in a French dictionary as slang for "friend", or "companion".

After two year's without successfully holding to outside stallions Ringstead Charming Lass took a fancy to her half brother Ringstead Major late in 2007, so without much hope she was covered once. Ironically she held and foaled in July 2008 - another striking loud sabino chestnut colt with very loud markings. He is out of our superb foundation mare Ringstead Charming Lass who is a multiple supreme champion and medal winner (including  bronze and silver) and by the fantastic old stallion Ringstead Major. This colt had a rockey start to life but is hopefully well on teh way to recovery - reserved at birth by EmmaJane and famiy (Taraco Crossfire's owners) as a future matching pair to Crossfire this little colt has some big footsteps to follow in! His half brother Taraco Crossfire is a multiple champion in hand and now under saddle - winning championships and prizes in hand, in LR classes, handy pony and young handler; Another half brother, Tallares Sandpiper is a Royal Welsh winner and his half sister, a delightful cremello filly foal by Tynyfid Carwyn has been retained at the stud.Ringstead Major, his sire, is also a very succesful show stallon and sire having sired many ponies that have gone on to be winners and champions in hand, under saddle, in harness and in producing winners themselves. His stock have also been exported to the continent. His daughter Pinfold Spring Melody winner was a frequent winner with wins including Lincoln County and Great Yorkshire Shows. His daughter Pinina Miranda was dam to the delightful palomino LR/FR pony Pinina Madoc who has been a prolific winner and champion in lead rein and first ridden classes qualifying for all major championships including: PUK, BSPS, Premier Series, RIHS And HOYS and has been described as `one of the top M&M LR & FR ponies on the circuit`.
