Taraco Chiquita

Chiquita - spanish name meaning 'pretty little girl' or affectionately 'little one'
This gorgeous filly is a doubly precious foal being the first for our stud by the medal winning stallion Friars Golden Mark and out of our foundation mare (five times medal winner) Ringstead Charming Lass who is now 23 years old. Her dam had been retired from breeding in 2008 but looked fantastic last year and took a clear fancy to Golden Mark so we decided to cover her on one season. Charm is renowned for throwing colts (her first owners sold her after 7 consecutive colt foals) but we have been very lucky in having two lovely colts and now two beautiful fillies. Her half brother, Taraco Crossfire, has been very successfully shown in hand and under saddle winning several championships. Her older sister, Taraco Cherish, is unshown due to being a cremello but I look forward to seeing this stunning girl out in the show ring in due course. With medal winning parents, aunts, uncles and siblings, royal welsh winning grandparents and siblings this is undoubtably one to watch for the future!
