Figaro - an old latin name meaning daring, cunning, intruiger;
a character from the Barber of Seville and most importantly the kitten from Walt Disney's Pinocchio!

This is the sixth foal for Cherimarie by the multiple Royal Welsh winning stallion Danaway Flash Jack! The first, a gorgeous palomino filly (Danaway Fantasy) was swiftly followed by the colts: Danaway Flashback (exported to Germany), Taraco Fiasco (buckskin colt retained), Taraco Fernando (buckskin colt sold to Scotland), Taraco Fabio (chestnut colt sold to Denmark) and now yet another colt. We were hoping that after 3 colts and only 1 filly for us that we may be lucky and get a filly this year but this colt is utterly gorgeous with a heart of gold so we cannot complain! Like his brothers this is a very strong colt with perfect markings, great bone and feather, a superb tail set and quarters and lovely welsh type. Following in the footsteps of his full siblings Figaro combines the best of his sire and dam and is very like both Fiasco and Fabio. His pedigree speaks for itself featuring back to back champions as ancestors and siblings. His sire is the multiple Supreme Champion Danaway Flash Jack (RWAS George Prince of Wales Cup Winner & Sup. Ch. of Show 2000, 3 times RWAS winner, Glanusk winner, multiple championship winner). Flash Jack has sired numerous show winners including Royal Welsh winners, has stock exported across three continents (Europe, America and Africa) and is an absolute gentleman as well as a top show stallion and sire. His dam is the fantastic liver chestnut mare, Danaway Cherimarie, unshown to date this smashing mare is a half sister to multiple Supreme Champion and RWAS winning stallion Danaway Tango and she already has offspring exported to Ireland and Germany. He is a full brother to my own Danaway Fantasy, Taraco Fiasco, Taraco Fabio (exported to Denmark) and Taraco Fernando (Scotland), full brother to Danaway Flashback (exported to Germany) and 3/4 brother to Grand National Champion Danaway Sunny (exported to the USA) and 1/2 brother to Danaway Riviera (exported to Ireland). This combination has been proven to work time and time again and, just like his siblings, Figaro is a great colt to have around, he has a gentle and inquisitive temperament and combines action, conformation, quality and character in one package.
