Magical Rockset -        

This lovely mare joined me in 2006 with her buckskin filly foal, Taraco Miss May, at foot. She is a fantastic old fashioned cob by the great stallion Supreme Champion Paith Magical Meredith (Significant wins in the show ring include: winner at The Royal Welsh Show as a two year old, winner of the Novice Stallion class at Glanusk, winner at the Ponies of Britain Show, winner at the West Midlands Stallion Show, and Supreme Champion at the National Pony Society Show Newport.) She is a half sister to Okeden Merry Maid and Okeden Magical Maid (both exported to the USA), multiple prizewinners Okeden Merlyn, Okeden Rachel, Okeden Modern Maid, Paith Lleucu’s Magical Shaddow. More recently her palomino half brother, Lodor Braint ap Meredith (one of the last remaining progeny of the late Paith Magical Meredith), sold at the 2006 sales for £5,200. Her half brother, Gallod Bang on Time stands at stud in Canada and is the sire of numerous successful stock abroad. Her dam, Paith Flying Rosalind is by the super stallion Thorneyside Flyer and out of a mare by Llanarth True Briton so the stallions in her pedigree read like a 'who's who' of welsh cobs. Magic combines this with a rare colour (perlino) and a fantastic temperament and if anyone can persuade her to move she takes your breath away!
