Morocco - this lovely colt is named after the wonderful exotic African country.
A combination of jet black points and golden dappled body make this name eminently suitable for such a striking colt.

We are thrilled to be offering this lovely colt at our first ever Cob Sales. Morocco is a lovely big strong colt by the superb young palomino stallion Danaway Desert Storm (by Danaway Flash Jack and out of Costa Cloey by Trevallion Valentino) and out of my beautiful Paith mare with a heart of gold. This colt is a lovely laid back easy going lad who can fly along with his tail up when the mood takes him!

His sire, Desert Storm, is by the legendary stallion Danaway Flash Jack who needs little introduction having won almost every major show and championship possible and with offspring sold throughout Europe, America and South Africa. Storm's dam, Costa Cloey, whilst little known herself, is a halfsister to another legend, Danaway Tango, as she is out of Trevallion Marie as well as being by Trevallion Valentino. Storm was very reluctantly sold as a young stallion so we could retain a homebred colt but we are thrilled to have bred this smashing colt by him.

His dam, Paith Magical Rockset, is a fantastic old fashioned cob by the great stallion Supreme Champion Paith Magical Meredith (His significant wins in the show ring include: winner at The Royal Welsh Show as a two year old, winner of the Novice Stallion class at Glanusk, winner at the Ponies of Britain Show, winner at the West Midlands Stallion Show, and Supreme Champion at the National Pony Society Show Newport.) Morocco's dam is therefore a half sister to Okeden Merry Maid and Okeden Magical Maid (both exported to the USA), multiple prizewinners Okeden Merlyn, Okeden Rachel, Okeden Modern Maid, Paith Lleucu’s Magical Shaddow. More recently her palomino half brother, Lodor Braint ap Meredith (one of the last remaining progeny of the late Paith Magical Meredith), sold at the 2006 sales for £5,200. Her half brother, Gallod Bang on Time stands at stud in Canada and is the sire of numerous successful stock abroad. She is a deep bodied mare with a pretty pony head, a very kind eye,lovely conformation and straight action. An easy-going mare she is a pleasure to be around at all times.

This colt features Supreme Champions Trevallion Flash Jack, Trevallion Valentino, Paith Magical Meredith and Thorneyside Flyer as his great grandsires. He looks like he has inherited his sire's height, action and lovely golden colour and his dam's wonderful temperament, deep body, bone and feather. A really super looking colt who I am sure will only improve as the months go by.
