Mourinho is a lovely big strong colt by the superb stallion Danaway Flash Jack and out of my beautiful Paith mare with a heart of gold. His sire, is the legendary stallion Danaway Flash Jack who needs little introduction having won almost every major show and championship possible and with offspring sold throughout Europe, America and South Africa. His half brothers include Taraco Figaro (sold to Australia), Taraco Fiasco (Royal of England winner), Taraco Fabio (sold to Denmark), Danaway Flashback (in Germany), Danaway Scrumpy Jack (Royal of Welsh winner) and countless other top welsh cobs! This wonderful colt has been sold to the USA - good luck with him Jenny.

His dam, Paith Magical Rockset, is a fantastic old fashioned cob by the great stallion Supreme Champion Paith Magical Meredith (His significant wins in the show ring include: winner at The Royal Welsh Show as a two year old, winner of the Novice Stallion class at Glanusk, winner at the Ponies of Britain Show, winner at the West Midlands Stallion Show, and Supreme Champion at the National Pony Society Show Newport.) Mourinho's dam is therefore a half sister to Okeden Merry Maid and Okeden Magical Maid (both exported to the USA), multiple prizewinners Okeden Merlyn, Okeden Rachel, Okeden Modern Maid, Paith Lleucu’s Magical Shaddow. More recently her palomino half brother, Lodor Braint ap Meredith (one of the last remaining progeny of the late Paith Magical Meredith), sold at the 2006 sales for £5,200. Her half brother, Gallod Bang on Time stands at stud in Canada and is the sire of numerous successful stock abroad. She is a deep bodied mare with a pretty pony head, a very kind eye,lovely conformation and straight action. An easy-going mare she is a pleasure to be around at all times.

This is a lovely colt who combines strength, grace and beauty in a gorgeous black package! He is a smokey black which means he is a black that also carries one copy of the cream dilution gene.
