Vervale Grenade

Owned by Mrs P Shepherd. This lovely young stallion is by the Supreme Champion stallion Knodishall Beaufort, and was one of the last foals before this young stallion was lost to Argentina. Grenade is a superb example of a welsh mountain pony with short cannons and good bone combined with a beautiful head and fantastic movement. Lightly shown with great success as a youngster he was a prolific winner and Supreme Champion. He has spent two seasons standing at Thistledown Stud, where he has produced some fantastic stock, and has now returned home to Vervale Stud to stand at stud . Although only a young stallion, Grenade is already proving himself as an excellent sire with show winning stock on the ground including Royal of England winner Taraco Renegade.
